Vision Link gives you the ability to start small and think big. Go wireless when adding a new wing to save on conduit and labor costs. For skilled care, add a single two wire loop through the corridors to provide dome lights. Building more units close by? Go wireless with Vision Link and calls from alerting devices in assisted living can be displayed down the street at skilled care as well. Optional software allows residents to "check-in" by pressing a button in their apartment. Vision Link will notify your staff if any residents do not check in within the programmable timeframe so that the resident can be called and if there is no response, help can be dispatched.
All Vision Link alerting devices can be linked to your staff via alpha-numeric pagers or wireless phones for easy monitoring 24 hours a day. These notification devices allow staff members to remain mobile while receiving residents' requests for service instantly. The optional Call History software module records every resident request for assistance as well as staff response time to that request. You can then reference these response times for risk management and to set benchmark target response times for your staff.
The heart of Vision Link is the PC on which Vision Link software is installed transforming your PC into a user friendly Video Display Console. The console lists all incoming alarm calls in plain English showing the patient's name and room number on the full size CRT monitor. Types of calls are indicated by color and by audio indications with calls displayed from the top down according to priority. Patient information such as family name and telephone number, doctor name and number, diet code, insurance code and more can be accessed with the patient call. Multiple Video Display Consoles can even be networked together to allow staff to "swing" rooms or wings from console to console depending on staffing and patient census.
Vision Link was developed to provide the highest level of comfort and security for your residents by combining pull cords, pendants, staff notification devices, fire and motion detectors into one seamless system that grows with your facility depending on your requirements and your budget. Because it is wireless, adding to Vision Link is inexpensive. Because if is software oriented, future additions to Vision Link are virtually limitless. Install Vision Link in your facility and see how it will improve both the quality of care and your resident's peace of mind.
